- Mr. Newton’s interests include golf and skiing. Mr. Newton participated in track and field as a collegian and participated in the 1980 Olympic Trials in the pole vault. He currently is an assistant coach in charge of the pole vault for the Burbank High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams.
